Flyers Take Out Devils In Five Games

The Philadelphia Flyers are the first team to advance to the second round, after eliminating the #2 seed, New Jersey Devils. Flyers goalie, Brian Boucher outdueled Martin Brodeur, and collected his second career playoff shutout. Despite having lost forwards Simon Gagne and Jeff Carter to injury, the Flyers simply outworked the Devils in every aspect of the game. The Flyers now have a few days to rest as they await the results on who they will face in the second round.
