The Canadian men's ice hockey team takes part in its first game of the Vancouver Olympics tonight at 7:30pm EST against Norway. With the amount of excitement, scrutiny, and coverage that has surrounded this team I hope you are all ready to watch and support as Canada begins its trek to a gold medal on home soil. The Canadian women's ice hockey team has started out strong as expected, earning another win against the Switzerland hockey club last night. With the win, Canada has secured its spot in the semi-finals which start on February 22.
Canada's snowboard-cross athlete, Mike Robertson, won another silver medal yesterday. Congratulations to him, as he made a gutsy run against a strong American team in the final.
After three days of competition, Canada's medal count now stands at 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze. Good job Canada!!!
